Day2 Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Old Cairo
Our first stop is the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art, the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are on exhibit, including a collection of treasure, gold and jewelry found in Tutankhamen’s tomb during excavations in the early 20th century. Next are Citadel of Salah El Din, Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. You will also go on a tour of Old Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, Abu Sirga Church and Synagogue before returning to your hotel.

Day3 Giza Pyramids, Memphis and Sakkara
Our tour representative will pick you up from your hotel to enjoy a private excursion to the Three Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus. Next is a visit to the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, which dates back to the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Next Your Private English Egyptologist guide will head you to Sakkara to visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. After lunch at local Egyptian restaurant, we will travel to Memphis, which was founded by King Menes and was the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years as the first capital of Egypt. Here we can see the Statue of Ramses II. Before heading back to Cairo you will have some free time to a papyrus and perfume small factory

Day4 Luxor by Air
Early pick up services from your hotel to Cairo airport. Fly to Luxor from Cairo meet with a professional tour guide and start your day at Karnak Temple, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. We pay a visit to Valley of The Kings, which hosts the masterpieces of the ancient Egyptian tombs, before heading onto the Temple of Queen Hatshpsut, the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. We will also stop to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the evening, you will be driven to Luxor airport for your return flight to Cairo.Your tour will end around 16:00 and your flight back to Cairo is at 22:00. To fill the time until your flight, we will book you a hotel room free of charge where you can relax. If you would rather fill the time with additional activities your guide will be happy to make it happen for an extra cost.

Day2 Cairo – Museum and Citadel Tour
Morning visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which includes the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic artifacts and the treasures of Tutankhamen’s tomb. Visit the Mummies room. Stop for lunch at the Fish Market restaurant then drive to the Citadel of Saladin and visit the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. In the evening, you will enjoy the Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids.

Day3 Cairo – Old Cairo and Khan El Khalili Tour
Drive to Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue and Saint Sergius Church. Stop for lunch at Naguib Mahfouz cafe and enjoy a walking tour of the largest 13th century oriental market, Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Day4 Cairo, Luxor
After breakfast, transfer to the Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival transfer to your luxury cruise ship for a 5-day, 4-night sailing. Visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Afternoon tea. Evening transfer to Karnak Temple for the Sound and Light Show. Return to your cruise ship for dinner followed by a belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor.

Day5 Luxor, Esna
After breakfast, visit the West Bank including the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, sail to Esna. Afternoon tea, Captain’s welcome cocktail and dinner. Overnight in Esna.

Day6 Edfu, Kom Ombo
Sail to Edfu during breakfast. Upon arrival to Edfu, travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, considered the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Lunch during sailing to Kom Ombo. Afternoon tea and dinner followed by a Galabeya Party. Overnight in Kom Ombo.

Day7 Kom Ombo, Aswan
After breakfast, visit the temple of Sobek and Horus in Kom Ombo, then sail to Aswan. Lunch on board. Visit the Aswan High Dam, the Granite Quarries and Philae Temple. Afternoon tea and dinner followed by a Nubian Folkloric Show. Overnight in Aswan.

Day8 Aswan, Cairo – Abu Simbel Tour
Disembarkation and transfer to the Aswan airport for your flight to Abu Simbel. Visit the Great Temple of Ramses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. After visiting this magnificent site, you will be transferred back to the Abu Simbel airport for your flight to Cairo via Aswan. Relax and enjoy the facilities of your hotel in Cairo.

Day9 Cairo – Alexandria Tour
Early breakfast then start your day to Alexandria by private air-conditioned vehicle, accompanied by your representative and English speaking Egyptologist. Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shukafa, Quait Bay Fort. Stop for lunch then proceed to the National Museum and Alexandria Library (Bibliotheca Alexandria). Transfer back to Cairo in the evening.

Day10 Cairo – Pyramid Tour
After breakfast, a scenic drive will take you to the Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza, which have stood for the last 5000 years. Complete your visit at Giza with a tour of the Solar Boat Museum. After lunch, continue to the ancient city of Memphis, the first capital of United Upper and Lower Egypt, and then visit Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser. In the evening you’ll enjoy top-class service aboard a Nile dinner cruise, gliding past Cairo’s illuminated skyline while you dine, and with entertainment provided by a spectacular belly-dancing and folklore show.
